I had a blast running the 14 miler at the 2nd annual Swamp Fox Ultra. I had a much faster time this year over last year’s race! We started out at 6am (sunrise is at 7:37am there) and ran a little over half of it with headlamps which is fun and interesting. Literally gets you back to the ‘roots’ of trail running😂. Several roots tried to trip me but that’s ok.
Although I was doing a 14 miler this race also had folks running 50k, 50 miler, 100k and 100 miles and if you’ve never been to an ultra, they have the coolest atmosphere. Everyone is laid back and joking before, during and after the race. Btw, love my Altra Lone Peak trail running shoes! They powered me out and back. The first pic was taken after the race and I was rocking my Janji Collective member shirt. Check out the cool finisher coin too. Anyway, thanks again to @eagle_endurance for a great experience. 😎⛄️🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻
